By creating an account or using Waypoint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Waypoint is an informational training-tracking tool. It is NOT an official FAA record, NOT a replacement for your official pilot logbook, and NOT an aviation authority. Requirement calculations and citations are provided to help you organize your training, but they can contain errors and do not constitute regulatory, legal, or flight-instruction advice.

You are responsible for verifying all FAA requirements, currency, and eligibility with your certificated flight instructor, your examiner, and the current 14 CFR. Always rely on your official logbook and the FAA — not Waypoint — as the authoritative record.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account (or have a parent/guardian’s consent if under 18). Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Waypoint lets CFIs record endorsements electronically for convenience. The recording in Waypoint is a record only; the issuing CFI is solely responsible for the legal sufficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of any endorsement under 14 CFR and AC 61-65. Waypoint does not certify, validate, or guarantee any endorsement.

Use Waypoint only for its intended purpose and lawfully. Do not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, or upload unlawful content.

Waypoint is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that requirement computations are correct or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waypoint and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the app — including checkride outcomes, missed requirements, or scheduling. Your use of Waypoint is at your own risk.

You may stop using Waypoint and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the service.

We may update these Terms; we will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Governing law to be specified. Questions: sami.kosaraju@gmail.com.
